Robert Abbott Tax Services was founded in 1955 by Robert E. “Bob” Abbott. Joining the rapidly growing Martinez, California, practice were Rebecca Hayes (in 1990) and Oscar Antonio (in 2005). With the passing of Bob and Rebecca, Oscar took over the practice in 2009.
Oscar Antonio holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas, and an Advanced Accounting Proficiency Certification from Santa Clara University. He has been preparing individual and business tax returns since 2003.
Oscar is an Enrolled Agent, a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service – examination, collection, and appeals. He is a Fellow of the prestigious National Tax Practice Institute and a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents, California Society of Enrolled Agents, and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Oscar firmly believes that income tax preparation, whether simple or complex remains very personal, so he approaches it with a complete understanding of each individual situation.
